On My Honor

The On My Honor Award is actually two separate awards: one for youth and one for adults. The youth version is earned while actively participating in a Scouting unit. The Adult version can be earned anytime during service as an adult leader.

While the requirements for each are quite different, the actual awards are almost identical except that the adult version is suspended from a ribbon that is placed around the neck. The awards should only be worn to special events, such as Courts of Honor. Otherwise, a knot patch is worn above the left pocket of the uniform to indicate that the wearer has earned the award.

We encourage all leaders to earn this award to show devotion to God through Scouting.

The requirements for the adult leader version can be found here.
